Embroidery and Cross-stitch is a fantastic way to relax and get those creative juices flowing. We have many pre-made kits to choose from, or you can buy your own threads and Aida from us and create your own. Visit our shop to see our full range.

Cross-stitch kits

Cross-stitch kits are great for making specific designs, and contain everything you need to get started. We stock (and can order) many Cross-stitch kits from DMC, Lanarte, Bothy threads, Derwent water, Twilleys, Anchor, Vervaco, and Dimensions. We also stock stranded cottons from DMC, Anchor and Aida in various colours in count sizes 14 – 28, as well as Binca and Linen.

Embroidery

We have lots of different embroidery kits, including pictures in round and square shapes, kits for making table cloths, as well as designs for runners and cushions. We also stock a few rug kits if you fancy a larger project, and can order other designs if you’ve seen something else you like. We also stock a limited quantity of Embroidery transfers too.

Tapestry

We carry Anchor and Twilleys designs in kits and stock tapestry canvas by the metre. We also stock Anchor Tapestry wool. If we haven’t got the one you want we can usually order within a few days .

Work boxes and bags

With all these accessories and embellishments, you need somewhere to store them all! We stock various styles of sewing boxes, both wooden and fabric covered, so you can make sure everything is kept together, and you don’t lose any needles!
